Collaboration across continents
Sonic Lobby composed the original film score alongside Issey Kakuuchi Abendsen. Much of the score ties in Cuban music elements, written to follow the film's shifting tension between the personal and the political. Rather than underlining the drama, the music sits beneath it - giving the story room to breathe while holding the emotional weight of Marla's journey across every scene.
